2011 chevy silverado traction control and stabilitrak problem.
When I got in to drive off, I put it in drive and the engine immediately ran rough and got the message: Stabilitrak off, traction control off, service stabilitrak, service traction control: Reduced engine power. This has never occured before. We purchased this 2010 Silverado new in May 2010 and it has 26,130 miles on it.
EBCM (electronic brake control module) There is a relay that is usually the cause. What I think the problem is, is cold brakes on the trailer not working so well causing push on the truck, and bouncing the rear end. Which probably sends the traction control into all kinds of fits. What I've been doing is upping my brake control gain at the start of the trip, after everything gets warm I drop it down.
